Review + Swatch: Avon Ultra Moisture Rich Lipstick (Rose Lipstick) and Holiday Collection make up palette
Friday, June 21
A Review on the products I got from AVON last year December 2012.
This post was sitting on my drafts for quite some time already. And here, finally I am posting them on my blog .This is a scheduled post by the way =)
I bought these items at my own expenses solely for review and have not been paid for by AVON.
So, Let's get started! ............
*sorry for the poor image quality. i am using my samsung camera. the old model. I hope to get a much better camera in the future though.. Wink! =)
The packaging:
What I love about it is that it comes in a dainty and clear cover so you can actually see the colors (eyeshadows and blush inside). It also comes with an applicator and a blusher brush.
What I don't Like: it has no mirror into it. So you have to use a separate mirror for you to view your eyes/face in every application. It is quite big and bulky to fit in my travel kikay kit. You might need a larger kit to store it. And also, the product can get shattered easily if you drop it so it takes extra care in handling it.
The Swatch:
It is not so clear here in the photo but the colors are really great. Perfect for blending. =) I love it.

have you tried these products as well?
Wedding 101: How to design a Brooch Bouquet
Friday, June 14
We are planning to tie the knot and I simply couldn't resist carrying this down the aisle. This is a repost from fancypantsweddings.com . I can't wait to create my own and post it as a DIY right here on my blog. But for now, here are the steps in creating it.
Brooch bouquets are amazing for so many reasons. Let me count the ways: they are sparkly, they make meaningful keepsakes after the wedding, they are sparkly, you can use jewelry from family members and carry a bit of them with you down the aisle, you make your brooch bouquet well in advance of the wedding, you never have to worry about it not holding up throughout the day and they are sparkly.
Making a brooch bouquet is quite the DIY project! It takes patience and creativity. But it is a worthy endeavor. Especially when you are ready to walk down the aisle carrying a beautiful brooch bouquet of your own making.
HAUL: Drug Store products + AVON Liners
Friday, May 24
Hi! this will be a short post on a haul that I had last week at Three Sixty Pharmacy, as I passed by going home. i recalled that i haven't bought some toiletries to use for the days ahead so i headed on and got myself the items in the above photo. =)
Every girl needs to smell good and of course clean and squeaky. I think the products all together cost me 300 plus pesos all in all, except the two liners i got from AVON which i bought for 200 pesos both. the gel eyeliner is great and worth the money. i'll do a separate review on that. =)
glimmersticks eyeliner in soft black
mega impact gel eyeliner
Camay shower gel. i like using shower gels so much since they are easily absorbed by the skin esp since it is in liquid form.
the facial cleanser that i am using most of the time since i first bought it i got hooked at eversince, i use it as a makeup remover as well.
the toner, my best toner ever. it's so soft on the skin and i love the scent so much. it relaxes my skin after cleansing with eskinol.
the soap that im loving today. the scent is somewhat citrusy i use it for my face.
the hair product that i can't live without. i use these to relax the tresses of my curls. sets my hair in place without the heavy feel.
for the damaged curly hair as a result from coloring.
my lotion as of the moment, i love the scent and the soft feeling it leaves after application.
my facial cleanser. i love this one as well. not so soapy but very smooth on the face. leaves my skin feeling soft and clean.
that's about it for me now.
till my next hauls!
have a great day and thanks for reading!
