Sugbu Mercado: Weekend Food Market [Update]
Friday, September 11
Sugbo Mercado Weekend Food and Lifestyle Market finally opens on September 25, 2015! Starting with fifty food and lifestyle product providers, Sugbo Mercado will be the first and the biggest year-round weekly food and lifestyle market in Cebu!
The event has been rescheduled to open September 25, 2015 |
Located on a wooded, grassy knoll at the corner of Geonzon and Villa Streets (beside Avida Showroom Office) in IT Park, Sugbo Mercado is proud to partner with Cebu Holdings Incorporated. We bring together the best of the best of Cebu as well as budding new entrepreneurs in the local food & lifestyle products industry to showcase their products in a tour de force of local pride.
Joining us for our launching weekend are our co-presentors: the biggest global brand in online classifieds, OLX Philippines; the purveyor of the Philippine Experience, The Islands Group; and Digitel Mobile Philippines' Sun Cellular.
"Kung dili na gamiton, ibaligya na" goes OLX Philippines' tagline as it allows the exploration of the old saying that goes, "one man's discard is another's treasure." Say, "Yesss, yaman!" at onsite pickups or swap meets, get free discount coupons from OLX to use at participating Sugbo Mercado tenants and catch OLX's brand ambassador, Jewel, perform live onstage!
Sugbo Mercado goes local all the way to our entertainment with opening night performances by fresh, independent Cebuano talents. David Wilde X Zeejacob headlines the lineup with Jameson Tenorio and Smurf. Now Brisbane-based, international hoops sensation Celi Toledo drops in to spin. Rising hiphop star JID Durano's music video for his latest single "Issues" goes on a second local public release with a feature performance by the man himself.
Initially operating on Fridays and Saturdays between 4PM to 2AM, Sugbo Mercado would also be an alternative open-air events space catering to corporate or product launches and roadshows on top of regular in-house entertainment activities like food showdowns, bands, shows, and other promotions.
Sugbo Mercado is also sponsored by the easiest way to order online from over 500 restaurants, foodpanda. foodpanda officially launches at Sugbo Mercado later in the month with a lineup of their restaurant-partners present. Catch the foodpanda Panda mascot live as he brings fun, prizes and surprises!
For inquiries, contact 09173088876 or message them at facebook/sugbomercado.
See you all at Sugbo Mercado!
D' Roof Garden Consolacion: A Unique Events Place in Cebu
Wednesday, September 9
Cebu already has a lot of places to hold events for special occasions may it be Birthdays, Anniversaries, Reunion, your child's Baptism, Debut or Barkada Reunions.
If you are looking for a new exciting and tranquil environment in the mountains of Casili, Consolacion or if you live within the Northern part of Cebu, I highly recommend this place for you.
D' Roof Garden offers a place where you can spend quality time with your friends and loved ones too.
It is a unique place to celebrate. It is the next venue and one-of-a kind rooftop venue for your special occasions.
I personally love the Garden feel of the environment and scenic views of the mountains on the roof top which made me and A decide to hold our wedding reception there.
Some photos taken during that wonderful day.
We were truly thankful for the good weather that time. It was a wonderful moment to celebrate our wedding especially that the Bijag family were also so accommodating to all of us.
If you are in the middle of planning your wedding, you can come and visit this place. Make your big day memorable and unique but in an affordable way.
If you are on a wedding budget, they currently have promo package which includes a package of bridal car, one (1) overnight stay at our fully furnished unit & use of roof garden with tables & chairs maximum of 100 guests for only P8,000.00. (catering not included, but they have a separate food package to choose from).
Here are some of the packages they also offer at a reasonable price:

A little somethin'
Thursday, April 9
Hi mommsies !
How was your week so far? Mine has been a bit busy as I just got back from the office right after my appendectomy operation.
Anyways, I just wanted to share with you all just a little bit of an update.
Our company where I am currently working at had recently launched its new brand logo and had the corporate rebranding worldwide. I was glad that I was able to make it to work and proud to be a part of its momentous event. I definitely look forward for more achievements and milestones for our organization. If you are a working mom like me, it's really important that we are able to cope up and properly balance our time and efforts in particularly about everything.
So far, I can say that this has been my best days after the battles that I had just a fews back.
I felt that after overcoming my appendectomy ordeal, I felt even more stronger. I needed to do it.
That I wanted to be a stronger person for my son and my family and for my work.
It was hard for me at first. Feeling so sudden. Having to go through that was both self realizing and depressing. It is bitter - sweet.
All I can say is that, life is fragile.
That just one day I was all happy and having my zumba in the morning at home and then after a few, I'd be feeling that really strong pain in my abdomen and then eventually went to emergency operation.
It has been two weeks and the memory of my surgery is still so fresh in my head.
Just like the scars and the wound. They are healing now, but I still feel that slight pain.
I pray that all of us, go through life's challenges and that all of us will really stay healthy not just for ourselves but most of all for our loved ones.
Just as what Ina Raymundo posted via her IG account. She shows off her battle scars.
I have them too from my previous pregnancy and my CS operation scar.
Now my battle scars are here to stay and I will forever be reminded of how I went through.
We will WIN in this battle mommsies!
In life We need a little somethin':
May your week be blessed ahead!

CBSi celebrates 7th at Marriott Hotel Cebu
Saturday, February 14
What a great day to celebrate the Valentines Day! I hope you are having a blast as you are reading this post wherever you are in the side of the world.
Today, I am really honored and humbled to be a part of the 7th Anniversary Celebration of Cebu's Premiere Blogging Community.
Blogging has really been a great part of my journey as an individual and as a person. I have grown so much and learned a lot from it. Writing was always my solace. My sole companion and confidant.
Although i wished i had the chance to speak of so many things and share to anyone what my life feels like. ;)
Being into blogging shaped me and molded me as an individual.
There were times when blogging was my only escape. But now, it has become my passion.
Alongside all the stories I have read, and some I have told about, my greater goal is to really help.
To educate and help someone thru my blog.
Blogging makes me so happy whenever I get feedbacks and responses and it was what inspired me to go on. Despite all the challenges, blogging was definitely worth it after all.
Not only did I get to have an online home, I get to know other bloggers and instantly felt connected.
That I was never alone. That there is also someone like me. That I wanted to somehow belong.
And I knew that it had to be a group whom I will the same passion and vision. A group that will motivate me, encourage and help me to do what I love- blogging, and Blogging for Cebu.
CBSi is that.
I told myself wow, what an awesome group of bloggers. I want to become a part of them too!
And now, I am definitely humbled and grateful to finally become a part of. After many attempts in the past.
Thank you guys, for accepting me in and for treating me like family. Well, my online family. ;)
To this day, I congratulate every blogger. And to CBSi, for the seventh year.
You've come a long way you guys.
This 15th of Feb, CBSi with all its alumni, current and new members will be celebrating their Anniversary at Marriott Hotel.
It will surely be an awesome evening.
